Day 1: Arrival Entebbe-Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by our company guide who will transfer you to Kampala for refreshment and overnight stay at Sheraton Kampala hotel (high end), La Petit Village (mid range facility) or Forest Cottages Kampala (Budget facility) Meal plan BB.

Day 2 Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park

The trip from Kampala to Kibale on the newly constructed high way takes approximately 4 hours. So an early start at 8:00 am after breakfast will enable you arrive early enough for lunch. The afternoon nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary will reward you with primates encounters including different monkey species and various bird species including the fabulous blue turacco among others. Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

This day choose to engage in chimpanzee habituation exercise or simply go tracking. The former entails tracking chimpanzees a full day as you get involved in all chimp activities and behaviours. If you prefer simply chimpanzee trekking, you will be able to spend about 4 hours in the forest and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park for an overnight stay in some of the most comfortable lodges at the periphery or inside the national park. Day 4: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise

The drive is reminiscent to one’s experience driving through the verdant country side in to the home for the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Day 6:  Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start a 30 minutes – 8 hours trek to find the Mountain uganda gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. This strenuous quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain gorilla. After a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. Time permitting in the afternoon ready for a village foot safari to meet and interact with the local communities that live around Bwindi Forest.
