Day 1: Entebbe – Bwindi
Our guide will pick up from your hotel of residence in Kampala or Entebbe to be transferred to Entebbe International Airports to catch up with a scheduled flight to Bwindi for the gorillas in Bwindi national park trekking safari. You can choose to go with a morning flight “Departs 0745 arriving 0855”. You will enjoy the Arial view of the beautiful changing Landscape. The flight is only for 2 hours o the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps. On your arrival to Kihihi, you will be transferred with our vehicle to your Lodge. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at Rest Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Day 2: Gorillas in Bwindi national park trekking tour & Village walk in Bwindi NP
After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start a 30 minutes – 8 hours gorilla trek to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. This strenuous quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain gorilla. After a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos.
