Detailed 6 days Uganda safari to Lake Mburo National park
Day 1: Kampala-Lake Mburo National park
On this morning after an early breakfast, you will leave for Lake Mburo National park. The tour will take you through Uganda’s countryside with our first stopover being the drum makers stalls along the highway. Here you will watch briefly the process of making drums and other crafts and later proceed to the Equator monument, you will have an opportunity to take photos in both the southern and northern hemispheres on the monument. Thereafter proceed to the park in time for lunch. After lunch have a guided nature walk and search for birds, antelopes like impalas and zebras. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight(F/B).

Day2: Game drive and Boat cruise
Early morning after breakfast, set off for a morning Game drive. Your guides will brief you before you head into the dense forest on your search for Zebras, Cape buffalos, Eland Antelopes, Oribi and Topi, view several bird species as the park has over 250 species of birds including Purple starling, Helmeted Guinea fowl, Brown-faced lapwings, Caruthers, Cisticolas, the extraordinary White-winged Warbler, and Bare-faced Go-away bird. Return to the lodge for lunch, later in the evening spend time on an evening boat cruise amidst the Hippos which is an amazing and relaxing activity. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Wake up to an early morning breakfast and go for a Game drive in search of the early risers and all other wildlife that you missed out in the previous Game drive including zebras, Giraffes and different bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, go for a horse riding safari and expect to see animals like impalas, zebras, giraffes and also different bird species like papyrus gonoleks, white-winged warbler. After breakfast you will carry out a game drive looking for game buffalo zebra, antelopes, after drive out to Igongo for lunch and proceed to Bwindi National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. The drive is long but enjoyable. Later check in to the selected lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan (F/B)

Day5: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community visit
You will have a morning breakfast and transfer to the National park headquarters for briefing with your packed lunch before embarking on Gorilla trekking. Hiking in the jungle may last from 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on the location and movement of the Gorillas. On reaching the Gorillas, you will spend an hour as you take photographs and observe their unique characters, the way they play and make their beds. In the evening, you will visit Batwa pygmies, the traditional dwellers of the forest enjoy their cultural dances. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Meal plan(F/B)
