9 DAYS MURCHISON FALLS AND QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
9 days Uganda tour with gracious tours and travel will take you to Murchison falls national park and other different parts of Uganda as you enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna and various activities like boat cruises, game drives, primate trekking, bird watching and many more.
Day 1: Entebbe – Murchison Falls
You will depart from Entebbe for Murchison falls National Park. On your way, you will check out the ziwa sanctuary for the rhino trekking and Lunch. A visit to the top of the falls, for such a lovely scenery viewing. Then meals and overnight stay at Murchison River Lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive
You will set off for an early game view drive on the North of the Nile. Check out lions, Buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribi and baboons are some of the animals you will spot. You will have lunch enroute. After Lunch, you will go for Hiking in the afternoon on top of the Falls and watch the falls as the Nile flows to the North. While here you will also go for Nature walk. Then Check in at Murchison River Lodge.
Day 3: Murchison
After an Early Morning Breakfast, you will take a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile River. Spot schools of hippos, large crocodiles, small herds of buffalo. There is rich birdlife on the papyrus banks, watch out for the shoebill stork, the most sought bird in Africa. Have Lunch and then go White Water Rafting in the afternoon. Day 4: Murchison – Kibale
Depart from Murchison at about 8:00 a.m. after breakfast to Kibale passing a road in Fort portal that overlooks the rift Valley for sightseeing of the great Rift Valley and many lakes situated within. Stop for places where market is available. This about a 6 hours’ drive you will reach Kibale in the afternoon check in at: Kibale Guest cottages for Meals and overnight stay.
Day 5: Kibale
After an early Breakfast, with local Guides carry out chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park nestled in the shadows of Rwenzori Mountains. In the afternoon after lunch visit Bigodi swamp. And back to Kibale Guest Cottages for Meals and overnight stay.
Day 6: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth Park
After an early breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth N.P. Carry out a game drive in the Mweya Peninsular that has a magnificent location of the Rwenzori glacial peaks. Check out Lake Katwe and other small crater lakes. Overnight stay at Enganzi lodge.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth Park
Dawn game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and cob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo. Overnight stay at Enganzi lodge.
Day 8: From Queen to Kampala then Entebbe
After an early morning Breakfast, Transfer Back to Kampala then proceed with a tour of Entebbe town including the Botanical gardens located on the shores of Lake Victoria where you will encounter lots of monkeys and birds of different species as you enjoy the cool breeze. Have lunch (try out the Ugandan Tilapia!). And check in at Anderita Beach Hotel for dinner and Breakfast.
Day 9: Entebbe
After an early Morning Breakfast, you will set off to Entebbe for your Flight.
