Day 1: Kampala – Murchison Falls

You will depart from Kampala for 7 days in  Murchison falls National Park,  On your way, you will check out the ziwa sanctuary for the rhino trekking and Lunch. A visit to the top of the falls, for such a lovely scenery viewing. Then meals and overnight stay at Murchison River Lodge.

Day 2: Game and launch cruise at Murchison Falls

You will set off for an early game view drive on the North of the Nile. Check out lions, Buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribi and baboons are some of the animals you will spot. Then you will take a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile River. Spot schools of hippos, large crocodiles, small herds of buffalo. There is rich birdlife on the papyrus banks, watch out for the shoebill stork, the most sought bird in Africa. Meals and overnight stay at Murchison River Lodge.

Day 3:  Murchison – Kibale

Depart from Murchison at about 8:00 a.m. after breakfast to Kibale passing a road in Fort portal that overlooks the Rift Valley for sightseeing of the great Rift Valley and many lakes situated within. Stop for places where the market is available. This about a 6 hours’ drive you will reach Kibale in the afternoon check-in at Kibale Guest cottages for Meals and overnight stay.

Day 4:  Kibale

After an early Breakfast, with local Guides carry out chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National Park nestled in the shadows of Rwenzori Mountains. In the afternoon after lunch visit Bigodi Swamp. And back to Kibale Guest Cottages for Meals and overnight stay.

Day 6: Kibale to Bwindi

After Breakfast, you will depart from Kibale at around 10:00 a.m. to Bwindi national park for gorilla trekking safari which is approximately 7 hours’ drive having lunch en route. You will reach Bwindi in the afternoon and check in at Silverback Lodge for meals and overnight Stay.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest

After breakfast and briefing by Park Ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start 30 minutes – 8 hours trek to find Mountain Gorillas as you Hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. Spend hours with them while observing and taking photos. Then later take a village foot safari to meet and interact with the local communities that live around Bwindi Forest. Later an overnight sat with meals at Silverback Lodge.

Day 7:  Bwindi – Kampala

After breakfast, depart for Kampala having lunch en route and a chance to explore the culture at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara before a mini stop at the Equator in Masaka. You will later reach Kampala in the evening. End of Safari.
