9 DAYS HOT SPRINGS SAFARI AND WILDLIFE SAFARI to Uganda, 9 days Uganda safari tours to view hot springs and wildlife
DAY 1: Kampala to ihimba hot springs
You will start your 9 days hot springs safari by embarking on a 5-6 hours drive from Kampala to ihimba hot springs in the western part of Uganda in kabale district. Water from these hot springs has been found to contain varying amounts of minerals and chemicals which are known to have medicinal values in them. The minerals and chemicals include sodium chloride, potassium chloride, lithium sulfate, calcium sulphate, calcium phosphate and magnesium chloride among others. They are said to have healing properties by the local residents. Then have a night in white horse hotel in kabala district.
DAY 2: Kitagata hot springs
Drive from the hotel through Ntungamo district to Sheema district to view Kitagata hot springs. The kitagata hot springs has two hot springs adjacent to each other that include Ekyomugabe and Mulago and the water to the springs is supplied by River Ngaromwenda.
The scenery around the springs is also another attraction which includes conical hills and beautiful green vegetation of trees and grass.
These hot springs are also believed by local people to have healing powers.

DAY 3: Rwagimba hot springs
Drive from the lodge to Rwagimba hot springs in kabarole district. The hot spring is on River Rwimi which separates Kabarole and Kasese districts. Then continue to mountain of the moon hotel in Fortportal for a night.
Locals come to this place to cure their afflictions and also have a bath in the hot springs.
DAY 4: Buranga hot springs
Have an Early morning drive to Buranga hot springs then an afternoon drive to sempaya hot springs that is known as Semlik Hot Springs located in Semlik National Park in Western Uganda. Semlik hot springs has the best hot springs with boiling water at a temperature of over 130 degrees centigrade capable of boiling eggs within 10 minutes.
Semlik hot springs has the two Sempaya hot springs, one male called Bintente and one female called Nyasimbi.
After a long day of visiting both the Sempaya hot springs and uranga hot springs. You will retire at the mountains of the moon hotel in Fortportal district.
Day 5: To Hoima district
On the sixth day, we will embark on a long day drive to hoima district then rest at Hoima Kolping Hotel for a night.
Day 6: Kibiro hot springs
On the sixth day, we will visit the kibiro hot springs and salt gardens in hoima town in kibiro fishing village near the shoes of Lake Albert. Then drive to Masindi and check in at Murchison River Hotel near Murchison falls national park .
Day 7: Murchison falls for a game Drive
After an early morning breakfast, Embark on a journey to Murchison falls for a game Drive and check in at Murchison River Lodge for dinner and Bed.
Set off for an early game view drive on the North of the Nile. Check out lions, buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribi and baboons are some of the animals you will spot. In next to no time, take a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile River. Spot schools of hippos, large crocodiles, small herds of buffalo. There is rich birdlife on the papyrus banks, watch out for the shoebill stork, the most sought after bird in Africa. Meals and overnight stay at Murchison River Lodge.
Day 8: Amoropii hot spring
On this second last day, we shall visit the last hot spring called Amoropii hot spring found in Northern Uganda and is located about three kilometers from Panyimur fishing village of Nebbi District on the western shores of Lake Albert. After a long day at Amoropii, you will retire at satellite one hotel.
Day 9: Departure
On the last day of this safari, you will embark on a long day drive from Nebbi to kampala enroute the various beautiful physical scenery, cultural made marks and many more. To Entebbe international airport for your departure plane back home.
